My First Novel- National Novel Writing Month

I just signed up at the National Novel Writing Month (November). My site handle is RHVic, same as twitter. It's my effort at eventually writing my great American sci-fi novel. I'll start with a short novel or collection for short stories based on the life of my bebes and eventually move from there to an actual novel, screenplay, movie script! Endless possibilities.

The Rules state 50,000 words to qualify for a novel and minimum to be completed at end of Nov, that breaks down to 1666.666666666667, or 1667 in 30 days. As of now, Nov 2, I've only signed up and filled out general info in a book manuscript template for Word 2010, no countable writing yet. But i have had 3 cups of coffee and written this post, and shared it on Twitter, so 'A' for effort?

I'll update this same entry with word count, ideas and whatnots.
